Oxford History & Heritage

Oxford is rich with history and heritage. Not only does Oxford feature Miami University, but it is home to the William Holmes McGuffey Museum that exhibits materials relating to William Holmes McGuffey's life. Visitors can catch up on the history of Oxford and of Butler County at the Smith Library of Regional History, which features special collections chronicling Butler County's communities.
