The Crazy Cardboard Regatta is back for a third season! This wildly popular event features handcrafted boats made entirely out of cardboard. Winners of each category are awarded a Bill Bass plaque to commemorate their cardboard victory. Come out to the 2012 Crazy Cardboard Regatta and enjoy the fun!
NEW HIGHLIGHTS: Demolition Derby category: in the finale event, boats compete to be the last boat floating! Demonstrations by BUFF (Butler United Fly Fishers): casting and fly tying are just some of the secrets these experts will share! And they have some great fish stories too!
Honorary Grand Marshal: Scott Strickler (builder and winner of the “SS Scooter”-last year’s People’s Choice Award winner Paddle with a Purpose: all profits will go toward adding a handicapped accessible area to the VOA playground

Noon-Exciting events kick off the races featuring Eliot Sloan from Blessed Union of Souls singing the National Anthem as well as local Cincinnality start Dean Miuccio as announcer and more celebrity guest Judges and race starters!
Great food from Wiggy Dip ice cream, Raymond's Pizza, Marlins and Rays seafood and more! Activities for the kids and vote for your favorite boat!
5-9pm-The Jack Trigger Band plays your favorite covers from the 80s and 90s to round off a great day!
Note: the minimum age for the NEW demolition derby event at the end of racing is only 10 years old accompanied by someone in the boat that is 18 or older. Build a boat to paddle and enter this race as part of your registration...or just build a boat for this category...may the last boat floating win!
