Governor Bebb Preserve and Pioneer Village

The smell of fresh air and a bit of historical flavor are just a few of the ingredients that bring a touch of nostalgia to this preserve. The Governor Bebb Preserve features a historical pioneer village, which includes the log house birthplace of William Bebb, Butler County native and Ohio's nineteenth governor; a general store; blacksmith's shop; one-room schoolhouse; tavern and more. The park is open daily and the pioneer village is open for tours on Sundays, Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The Governor Bebb Preserve is 264 acres of hardwood forest and thriving native wildlife. The preserve also features nature trails, a covered bridge circa 1850, rustic camping, group-use cabin, picnic areas, playgrounds, and restroom facilities.
