Whether you're looking to learn something, get crafty, keep the kids busy, or get active, below are some great ways to stay entertained. Check out the virtual DIY activities and tutorials you can get creative with! 


1. DIY Candle Making

Petals & Wicks in Hamilton is offering a ton of fun DIY kits that you can order online. They've got lots of fun stuff to play with — making you own candles, soaps or lotions. These take home kits include everything you need and are great kid-friendly activities. You can order them online here

If you're just looking for some stress-free relaxation, they're also selling pampering spa packages that includes their homemade lotion, body scrub, shower gel, and body mist. 


2. DIY Cookie Decorating

Delicious Designs in West Chester is offering the perfect DIY kit for your sweet tooth...cookie decorating kits! These are fun for kids, adults, and the whole family. April 6—10, the cookie kits are Easter themed and include 12 cookies and everything you would need to decorate them. They also offer birthday cookie kits and a new theme each week! 3. DIY Glass Art 

Haute Fusion Glass Studio in Middletown is making some amazing take-home kits that are guaranteed to keep you busy and give you an awesome homemade product! Choose from Mini Mandala Sun Catchers, Ornaments, Magnets, Jewelry Pendants, Nightlights or Coasters.

4. DIY Furniture Painting 

You've got a ton of time to get started on some painting projects! Fleurish Home in Hamilton always offers a large selection of paint and painting tools both in store and on their website. Downtown Middletown shared these Doodle Tutorials from Jelly Doodles by Cassie and they are fantastic! Each tutorial is super easy and fun and a great way to express some creativity by drawing your favorite animal. Check out Cassie's Instagram page for a large selection of doodle tutorials.

Agave & Rye in Liberty Township is posting cocktail how-to tutorials on their Facebook so you can follow along and make your own! Follow their Facebook page to tune in for their next live tutorial, or check out their past tutorials for their Tiki Tok, the Bourbon Peach Punch, or the Jalapeño Pineapple Margarita


2. How to Paint a Canvas

Pinot's Palette in West Chester is hosting live virtual painting classes to teach you how to paint their amazing canvases! You will need to have your own supplies (blank canvas, paints and brushes) and then the studio’s artists will guide you step-by-step through the project. The experience is completely interactive, so you’ll be able to ask the artists questions throughout the event. They currently have four virtual painting events you can choose from: Night Sky Zodiac, Dinosaurs in the Mist, Moonshine, or Vibrant Violets. Follow them on Facebook to keep up with their upcoming virtual events. 


3. Virtual Wine Tasting

The Spicy Olive in West Chester is hosting virtual wine tastings for all you wine-fanatics out there! The first Virtual Wine Tasting will be on Saturday, April 11 — They have chosen two whites and two reds for you to pick up at The Spicy Olive prior to the first Virtual Wine Tasting. They will be able to deliver the wines if you prefer and then on Saturday you can taste the four wines on their live web conference. Follow their Facebook Page for more information! 


4. Stay Home With Liberty Center 

The Liberty Center is offering a full weeks worth of activities! Follow them on Instagram (@libertycenterohio) to tune in for each day's activity or tutorial.
