Ohio's State of Emergency:
Governor DeWine has declared a State of Emergency in Ohio to ensure that the state is able to access federal funding to help with COVID-19.
State Efforts to Support Displaced Workers:
The Ohio Office of Unemployment Insurance Operations are providing resources for displaced workers during this time. An executive order issued by Governor DeWine expands flexibility for Ohioans to receive unemployment benefits during Ohio’s emergency declaration period. Small Business Support:
The U.S. Small Business Administration is working directly with Ohio to provide targeted, low-interest loans to small businesses and non-profits that have been severely impacted by COVID-19. For more information, please visit the SBA website.
Ohio's Liquor Buyback Program:
The Ohio Department of Commerce’s Division of Liquor Control will allow a bar or restaurant to return unopened high proof liquor products purchased within the past 30 days as a way to provide economic assistance to bar and restaurant owners during the COVID-19 pandemic.
