Discover beautiful vineyards, wineries and wine bars to spark your interest.

If your drink of choice is wine and you see the world through rosé colored glasses, then I have good news for you. There are some amazing places in Butler County for wine lovers. Even if you’re not a wine connoisseur, there are experts that are eager to help you find what you like at all of these places. Whether you like red, white, or sparkling wines, or just like trying new things... here are six places that wine lovers must try.

1. Hanover Winery

Hanover Winery

Hanover Winery features over 20 different wines of all varieties. The winery is beautiful, including a pond and lush greenery. Their wines are delicious and many of them are named after the owner’s beloved pups. The tasting room is perfect for a group tasting or private party. Make sure to check their calendar for events coming up including, live music, craft classes, wine pairings, and more. Located between Hamilton and Oxford.

2. Seven Mile Winery

Seven Mile Winery, Middletown Ohio

There is nothing quite like a sweet red wine, especially when it's made fresh from a local vineyard. Seven Mile Winery likes to compare their unique selection of fruit wines to country in a bottle. This new veteran-owned, boutique winery and vineyard has a lot to offer— from the taste and quality of their wines, to their beautiful venue and rustic barn, and even delicious wine slushies.

Located conveniently off of Central Ave. in Middletown.

4. The Spicy Olive

Experience the difference fresh makes at The Spicy Olive. This unique tasting emporium features the freshest extra virgin olive oils and the finest balsamic vinegars, as well as a unique wine selection. The space is available for private parties, cooking classes and wine tastings, or you can stop in any day to taste-test and browse.

5. Jungle Jim’s International Market

Jungle Jim's International Market, Beer & Wine

Jungle Jim’s is a popular Butler County attraction that is known for their international selections. You may have heard about the wine section as well…because it’s awesome. There is a huge selection (17,000 labels) of all types of wine, from many countries. They also have a tasting bar so you can talk with wine pros, sample some wines, and find the perfect bottle for you.

Cru was Oxford’s first wine bar and has grown into a full restaurant/gastro lounge. They offer 20 bottles by the glass and have a large display of bottles throughout the restaurant that are available for purchase. Stop by any day during their happy hour for deals that are hard to beat.

There are many places in Butler County that serve great wine and food, and many that host fun wine nights and events. I chose these wine bars, wineries, and restaurants for their variety, service, quality, and uniqueness.

In conclusion… Cheers!
