A Small Town Girl with a Big Dream

Sophia Blasi is a 22-year-old local fashion business owner and a native of Butler County. As a female founded team, she has a strong passion for female empowerment and helping other women gain the courage to do something special.

Just a Small Town Girl

Growing up, Sophia spent her childhood watching her dad coach the Miami University hockey team. She tells us that watching her dad build a team made her want to build something of her own.

"I've always looked up to my dad. He's my biggest inspiration."

Sophia graduated from Miami University in May 2023 with a degree in Fashion Entrepreneurship. During her time on campus, Sophia was involved in fashion organizations that included print styling for magazines and photoshoots. She credits her time with UP Magazine and Miami University Fashion and Design that sparked her interest in fashion.

Urban Luxe

Founded in 2020 by Sophie during her freshman year of college, Urban Luxe is an e-commerce women's clothing company based in Downtown Hamilton, Ohio. The e-commerce brand is a fast-growing retail destination for women that have an urge to go out of their comfort zone and find their personal style.

Urban Luxe's mission is to not only provide one of a kind and unique pieces of clothing, but to also inspire and bring women from around the world together and help find their personal style.

"All the women out there that have started businesses and have taken companies from nothing to something is really inspiring to me," says Sophia.

Manifest Collection

Urban Luxe just recently launched their latest collection, Manifest. Sophia tells us that this collection was largely inspired by East Coast fall vibes. In September, Sophia traveled to New York City to curate the collection using mood boards and various vendors.

By the end of their trip, Sophia and her team picked about 10 styles that completed the Manifest collection.
