Fall is a special time of year, particularly in Southwest Ohio. The crisp air, the leaves crunching beneath your boots, and smelling an evening bonfire nearly every night of the week. With layers on your back and adventure in your soul, head to Butler County for the perfect fall getaway.
Day 1
Tour Barn-N-Bunk in Trenton! Known by their painted silos, this unique farm market features three different barns offering specialty jams, seasonal produce, crafts, baked goods and so much more. Guests will be treated to fresh apple cider and pumpkin cookies, and will conclude the experience with a hayride. Lunch option is available.
BeauVerre Riordan Stained Glass Studio in Middletown is the oldest continually operating stained glass studio in the country. Located in a historic building in the middle of downtown, BeauVerre Riordan specializes in stained, beveled, etched, painted, and fused glass. Glass artists will be on-site for demonstrations, and a featured gallery showcases one-of-a-kind glassware pieces.
Day 2
We have all probably indulged in a donut or two, but have you ever decorated your own? Enjoy a Donut Making Experience! Glaze, dip in flavored icings, sprinkle, or coat in chocolate chips. Whatever your heart desires! Where better to try your hand at donut decorating than the famous Donut Trail?
EnterTRAINment Junction in West Chester is the largest indoor train display in the world! With 90 large, G-scale trains running on over 2 miles of track, your group will enjoy a panoramic journey through U.S. history, from the 1860s to present day. Enjoy Jack O' Lantern Junction, an indoor kid-friendly Halloween event featuring an indoor trick or treat maze, kid-friendly ghosts, skeletons and more!
Guided tours for groups include a special “Behind the Mountain” tour, where you can see all of the computers and equipment needed to keep over 1200 railroad cars running.
Discounted rates are offered to groups of 15 or more ticketed individuals. Advanced reservations are required. Drivers and group escorts receive complimentary admission, and bus parking is available on-site.

Day 3

Fretboard Brewing Co. in Hamilton offers traditional pub fare like Fish & Chips, Southern Fried Chicken Thighs, and Beer Cheese. The brewery has three floors with different feels. The first floor has a taproom feel that is comfortable with lounge-like seating and a bar, while the second floor is the traditional dining space. The Rooftop can be found on the third floor, with a full bar and cozy patio seating.
